Red sandstone, coated in clay, perched on a rock.
The next day the tide has washed away the clay on the
lower half of the sandstone.

A couple of months earlier I had rubbed away the vegetation
in a circle to expose the bare rock. Over time, it evolved, the
mossy growth fading away, to leave this ghostly
pale circle.

A row of stones made white with lichen, placed in a line over
the black rocky foreshore. At the full moon, the high tide would
cover the black rock leaving the white stones appearing to
float.
