Welcome to the Holy Isle Artist blog. My name is Martin Davies and I was a resident volunteer on the Holy Isle, a small island off the Isle of Arran on the west coast of Scotland, during 2010. This is a record of the environmental art that I made during the year.
Stone and Clay Sculpture No1, July 2010
Red sandstone, coated in clay, perched on a rock. The next day the tide has washed away the clay on the lower half of the sandstone.
