Welcome to the Holy Isle Artist blog. My name is Martin Davies and I was a resident volunteer on the Holy Isle, a small island off the Isle of Arran on the west coast of Scotland, during 2010. This is a record of the environmental art that I made during the year.
Clay Sculpture No1, August 2010
Three hand formed balls made out of clay carried from the shoreline and placed in the bed of the loch. It is the symmetrical piece to the three ball sculpture made from the mud here and taken down to the shore.
