Welcome to the Holy Isle Artist blog. My name is Martin Davies and I was a resident volunteer on the Holy Isle, a small island off the Isle of Arran on the west coast of Scotland, during 2010. This is a record of the environmental art that I made during the year.
Driftwood Structure No8, September 2010
A hollowed-out space with a long timber post set into the stones, encircled with a driftwood structural 'fence'. The space inside was about two metres deep and roughly circular in shape.
